Raised in Southern California, Felisa’s work is imbued with a particular care-free West Coast sensibility. Felisa was first drawn to floral design after seeing an Ikebana Exhibition in Los Angeles’s Little Tokyo neighborhood. Having lived on both coasts, with some years abroad in Berlin and through her Latin American roots, Felisa brings a well spring of inspiration from that travel, nature and art history to her work. With an MFA from Yale, her style is distinctly sculptural. Her artist-run studio is well suited to creatives who wish to host unique and striking events that will leave guests delighted and engaged. Ingenuity and creativity are keystones to her practice and you’ll see that in her unique bloom selection and playful forms.
